The turbine
Here, the water lets itself being tamed by the miller. It gets the turbine in motion which allows the hamlet to be fully powered.
With a 13.5 metres waterfall, the Francis turbine allows the alternator to provide electricity.
A 1927 hydraulic speed regulator made that has been refurbished regulate the rotation speed.
Beautiful homage to the impressive power of water and to Man ingenuity !
