The heritage

 

In between small bushes and sloppy fields, a discreet road on the side of the hill leads you to the heart of Massons hamlet.

 

                                           

 

In this valley of the monts du Forez,  the time has stopped to embellish this magnificent 7 century old heritage of mill and farming history. A few steps amongst the flowers… this is a pathway leading slowly to the bottom of the valley… you have now arrived at the Moulin des Massons. 

 

 

 

 

 

Straight away, you will want to wonder around the old building made from stones, some engraved. 

At the reception, an exposition shows the way people used to live in the hamlet from 1850 until now.
